I’ve been in the independent agency world since 2005, working in service and renewals for both personal and commercial lines, and spending over three years as a Director of Operations. I’ve used EZLynx every step of the way, so I understand both the technology and the day‑to‑day reality of agency life. Through Small But Mighty Solutions, I help agencies that haven’t had time or bandwidth to focus on operations build practical systems that keep staff supported, reduce daily friction, and make work feel more manageable and sustainable.
When I'm not nerding out over checklists and reports, you'll probably find me drinking Dr. Pepper and learning a new craft that I'll abandon in three weeks.
Growing up in the 80s with ADHD, I learned early that my brain needed more structure than most if I was going to get through school. There wasn't a lot of support or understanding around ADHD back then, so I experimented my way into systems that worked--study tricks, routines, and flash cards.
Those personal systems eventually became professional ones.
What started as survival tools turned into a deep appreciation for clarity, process, and structure. My love of processes and color‑coding turned out to be more than “just how my brain works”—it became the foundation for being a strong teammate and, eventually, an effective operations leader.
After nearly 20 years in an agency, I began volunteering with Applied Client Network and helped start the EZLynx User Alliance. That community work has been some of the most rewarding of my career. It's truly a privilege to learn from people and contribute to their efforts as they build their agencies.
This work matters to me because agencies are full of hardworking people trying to do right by their clients. They deserve processes that support them, not slow them down or create more work.
If you're feeling buried under "all the things," I understand that weight. And I believe it can be lighter with the right structure in place!
