Why I Love This Work

As a girl who grew up in the 80's with ADHD, I learned quickly that my brain was going to need some extra structure if I was going to get through school. You can imagine how much help I got from adults at the time. 😆 But after a lot of trial and error, I found systems that worked. Tricks to help me study, make sure I got my homework done (and turned in), and remember what I had to read.

Over time, those skills grew and evolved as I graduated and went into the workforce. I found that my love of checklists, processes, and color-coding was more than just a way for me to handle my own workload, it was the key to being a strong team member and, eventually, a successful operations manager. 

After working for nearly 20 years in an agency, I began volunteering with the Applied Client Network and helped start the EZLynx User Group Alliance. This work has been some of the most rewarding of my career. The community, collaboration, and shared desire for everyone to learn as much as they can is genuinely inspiring. To be able to use all the things I've learned in time management, operations, and process development to help other agents grow their business is truly a privilege.
